The Art of Survival
From the Streets to the Canvas
I believe that true art doesn't live in quiet, sterile rooms. It is born in the struggle, forged on the streets, and carries the raw pulse of human survival. My mission is simple: to take the gritty, unapologetic energy of street graffiti and capture it on premium canvas, bringing raw urban creativity right into your space.
Here is the story of how I got here.
The Early Spark and the Struggle
I started my artistic journey when I was just three years old. While other kids were drawing stick figures, I was sketching fully detailed superheroes. Seeing the spark, my parents bought me every art supply they could afford just to see what would stick.
By the third grade, my art had a purpose. I created a full comic book about a poor kid who stood up to neighborhood bullies trying to take everything from his community. It was a reflection of the world around me. Growing up in a third-world country, survival was the priority. Everything cost too much, and art supplies were a rare luxury.
When I was a young adolescent, my parents left the country to build a better future, leaving me behind with my aunt and her two kids. We lived in a tiny, one-room apartment and slept on the floor. During those hard years, my biggest inspiration was my cousin Ricky. Ricky, who is now in heaven, was a wildly talented artist. I wanted to be just like him. He would look at my work and tell me it was garbage. It stung, but deep down, I knew exactly what he was doing — he was pushing me to my absolute limits so I would never settle for being just "good enough."
Seduced by the Streets
As a young teen left to navigate a harsh environment, it wasn't hard to find a crowd that would get you into trouble. I was introduced to vandalism, an act highly illegal and deeply frowned upon where I lived. My mentor was a kid who had grown up in Los Angeles and had been sent back home by his parents. He taught me the true art of graffiti.
By the time I was 15, graffiti had escalated into widespread vandalism, tattoos, and bad decisions. I was spiraling. Seeing the trouble I was in, my parents pulled me out and relocated me to Texas to straighten out my life. For years after that move, I didn't touch a single brush or pencil. I buried that part of myself, but the creative itch never truly left my bones.
The Awakening
The turning point came completely by accident years later. A friend had just bought a house, and I offered to help her paint a room.
I grabbed a roller and started applying the paint. Suddenly, everything else faded away. I was completely hypnotized by the physical act of painting — the deliberate strokes, the satisfying sound of a wet roller pulling across the drywall, and the sharp, chemical smell of fresh paint. I zoned out completely.
The trance broke when my friend smacked me in the back of the head. She said she had been talking to me for a half-hour and I hadn't said a word. In that exact moment, the realization hit me like a freight train: I remembered how much I loved to create.

Finding Purpose on the Canvas
That very same day, I drove to the store and bought a cheap pack of brushes, some acrylics, and a blank canvas. When I got home, I decided to record the entire painting process in a timelapse. I poured all my pent-up energy, history, and emotion into that piece. I posted the final video on social media, and the painting sold within 30 minutes.
It brought me right back to being that kid doing illegal graffiti in my home country. I have always been a fan of raw, unfiltered creativity. It sparked a new vision: What if you could capture the dangerous, raw energy of street graffiti on a premium canvas and hang it on a living room wall?
That is exactly what I do today. I bridge the gap between street culture and fine art, creating original canvases and custom-framed graffiti art for collectors who want a piece of that unapologetic reality.
